Messaging on OnlyFans is pretty easy now. Their banned words functionality now stop the message from sending, which is nice. (If the functionality is different for creators, please let me know!)
If OnlyFans stops my message, why do I need another tool?
Well, it only tells you that there is a banned word. It doesn't tell you which word and where.
The following solution gives you the ability to check your message for banned words. In addition, it will provide context around the word so you can easily find it.
First, install the Safari Browser Extension "Stop the Madness"
This solution is for Safari, only. (If you need the functionality for a different browser, please reach out.)
Get StopTheMadness Pro from the App Store.
Configure StopTheMadness Javascript scripts
You can add custom Javascript scripts using these instructions from the creator of the extension.
Give me the code!
Almost there! Make sure to name your snippet something that makes sense. I named mine "OF Banned Words Checker".
You may also want to check for more banned words. These appear to have changed over the years. I have started with a few words that I use that are banned. You can expand the array.
This should help
Now, you can come to the Scripts section and run this script whenever you want by clicking the play button. I tend to only do this if my message gets blocked.
If you enable "Show contextual menu item" you can right click and run the script that way as well.
